Boot Camp - Final Results!

I can't believe boot camp is finally done! It was a long 8 weeks, but looking at my pictures and the numbers, I'm really excited. I lost a total of 10 pounds off the scale, but with that I also gained 6 pounds of muscle! I've already started to notice that some of my clothes are getting big! YAY!!! I'm really excited to continue down this road and to get myself into even better shape.

I think one of the things I'm mkost excited about is this dress. Though it's hard to tell int he pictures, this dress barely fit me when I started this journey. I went to a friends wedding this weekend and was able to wear it without any problems. Before - I couldn't get it zippered without fear that the zipper was going to break...now the dress hung loose and is actually a little "big" in some areas! I was pumped!!!!

So, here are the final numbers. I had a total of four weigh-ins and overall I'm really proud of myself. These numbers also include a week long vacation in Disney World where 90% of our meals seemed to be buffet style without too many "healthy" options! But I think all the walking we did made up for the poor food choices.

If you asked me after the first week of this boot camp if I liked the workouts and the facitlity, I'm not sure i would have said yes...however now that we are done and I can see the progress I'm really excited and can definately say YES!!! I loved kickboxing and then, the people - I feel like I made some friends in the classes. I'm not sure I'll continue with Scape each and every boot camp they offer, but I'll definately go back when I need the extra boost. I'm taking the next session off, but am already debating about the session that starts after the first of the year. So we'll see. We'll see what I can do on my own at home...hubby and I are talking about joining another gym (one that costs A LOT less than Scape). Time will tell. I'm ready to get back in the gym and start working out again. I want to find the body I once had and to help me be the best, healthiest person I can be!
